Our office is in Chester Springs, PA. That means we're not some out-of-state firm guessing at local requirements — we work in the Pennsylvania market every day and know what Philadelphia L&I, Chester County Building Services, and townships across the state actually need.
When your contractor says the building department kicked back the drawings, we fix it fast. When your permit needs a specific detail for a Bucks County township, we know what to include. Local experience makes a real difference.
Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (PA UCC) — Pennsylvania adopted the UCC in 1999, based on the International Building Code with state-specific amendments. All structural work must comply with the current PA UCC edition.
Philadelphia Building Code — Philadelphia uses its own amendments to the IBC. Projects in the City of Philadelphia must comply with Philadelphia Building Code requirements, which differ from suburban townships.
IBC & ASCE 7 — All structural calculations are performed per International Building Code (IBC) and ASCE 7 for loads including snow, wind, and seismic requirements applicable to PA locations.
Local Township Amendments — Many Chester County, Montgomery County, and Bucks County townships have local zoning and building requirements beyond the state code. We account for these in every project.
